Irina Müller works in the field of performing arts as choreographer, dramaturge and performer and is based in Berlin and Zürich. In her work dichotomies are often the starting points. They serve as productive paradoxes that set relations into motion.

In 2003 she made her diploma (BA) in choreography and dance at the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) at the Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten Amsterdam. Since then she created works such as her solo trilogy Me, Nicole and some others, Don´t blush and Show me as well as the duet Beyond now. in 2007 she received the cultural grant of the city of Schaffhausen, Switzerland and in 2008 a dance scholarship of the Senat Berlin for a research and study trip to New York. In 2009 she collaborated with Hermann Heisig and Nuno Lucas on the piece What comes up must go up in the frame of Looping, a European Platform. In 2010 Irina Müller was artist in residency at the Tanzwerkstatt Berlin where she created the trio On pleasure and fear that premiered at Tanz im August Berlin 2010.

Additionally Irina Müller participated as a performer in projects with Thomas Lehmen, Jochen Roller, Diego Gil, Herbordt / Mohren, Petra Sabisch, David Weber-Krebs and Eva Meyer-Keller and worked as a dramaturge with Lupita Pulpo and Therese Markhus.
Currently she is taking a MA in dramaturgy at the Zürich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
